UPCOMING:

• Plan for next school year! Schedule medication checks, vaccine updates or get vaccine exemptions signed by notary, and get action plans for anyone who has an inhaler, epi pen, diabetes, or seizures. They expire every year and the school needs a new one each year at the beginning of school.  Feel free to email these to the licensed school nurse as you get them this summer or plan to bring them to the meet the teacher conferences.  The sooner we get them, the better!

Your child may need vaccines:

• Age 4-6: DTAP, IPV, MMR, Varicella

• Age 11-12: HPV, TDAP, MCV

• Age 16: MCV

NEEDS/DONATIONS:

• Elementary health office- pants (especially leggings and athletic/sweatpants sizes 5-16 boys and girls), athletic shorts boys and girls size 5-16, boys and girls socks, sandwich size ziplock bags, hairbrushes, hair ties, nutragrain or granola bars (nut free), stress balls and/or fidgets

• MS/HS health office- black leggings, underwear, toothbrushes, floss, hairbrushes, hair ties, water bottles

REMINDERS:

• If your child goes home because they have a fever and/or vomited they need to stay home for at LEAST 24 hours. They need to be fever free and vomit free for minimum 24 hours before coming back to school. 

• If your child needs to take medication during school hours, we need a medication authorization form filled out to be able to administer those medications.
