Community Education provides lifelong learning opportunities for all ages in our community!

Community Education is a department in each school district in the state of Minnesota. This statewide, school-based network connects local people and resources to improve schools and communities.
D-E Community Education Advisory Council
The Community Education Advisory Council is mandated by the state of Minnesota and serves to advise the Administration and the Board of Education about issues relating to Community Education.
The Council serves as a liaison between the community and the school district in evaluating Community Education needs and providing input to promote and foster programs.
Members advise, guide, advocate, and serve as ambassadors for the development and delivery of Community Education programs and act as key communicators to connect the community to Dover-Eyota Public Schools.
Meeting Dates/Times/Location
(2024) March 18, April 15, and May 20 from 5:15 - 6 pm
in the Elementary in the staff lounge.

We are always looking for area community members to show off their skills and make a little extra money. Classes or camps for youth and adults.
Fitness, health, cooking, gardening, finance, arts, retirement, and any kind of youth learning and playing are all very requested classes.
