The Dover-Eyota Public Schools School Age Child Care (SACC) Eagle's Nest program provides child care services for elementary school-aged children.  

The SACC program works to provide a quality program in a safe, nurturing, and familiar environment. The program supports children's interests in physical, emotional, social, and cognitive development, providing them with opportunities to complete homework, engage in play, and participate in enrichment activities. 

Our initiative offers a diverse range of opportunities encompassing art, music, STEAM subjects, community service, and character development. With a focus on nurturing self-esteem, confidence, and social skills, we strive to foster independence and promote overall well-being.

Refer to the SACC Handbook for answers to many common questions about the program.  

Children Served:  

• Summer Care: Serves children who have completed Gr. K-4.     

• School Year Care:  Serves children who are enrolled in Gr. K-5. This means children can start attending SACC Eagles Nest on the first full day of Kindergarten.
