Desales Plays Jeff in Massive Late-Season Clash

With only 3 losses on the season, the Desales volleyball team is set up for a major clash against Jeffersonville High School in Southern Indiana. Although the Red Devils have a mediocre record, all their losses are to some of the best teams in the country. The defining factor of their season has been either winning big (3-1 or 3-0) or getting blown out (1-3 or 0-3). Don’t get it wrong: Jeff is a really good team and their record doesn’t reflect how good they actually are.

The biggest thing to watch out for on Jeff is their technical skill. They are full of club volleyball players and have talent at nearly every position on the court. In order for Desales to win, they’re going to have to play with low errors, as well as slow down the powerful attack of Jeff. If Desales can pull out a win today, they’re set up for success in the near future and can hopefully carry it into next Tuesday against St. X at home.
