Brady Malone is many things, but a person who keeps a frisbee for 9 holes of golf, he is not. The annual house frisbee golf tournament transpired on a blistering Thursday afternoon on the 14th of August. After scoring a scenic 4 on a par 3 hole one, Malone launched an absolute screamer directly into a bush in the middle of a swamp. With his frisbee on the line, Malone led a daring expedition into the belly of the beast to try and recover his lost artifact.
After a plentiful 20 minutes of searching, which some may say felt like an hour, Brady Malone returned empty handed. It was as if the frisbee itself had vanished off the face of the earth. Off this devastating loss, Malone’s team decided they would take another 4 in the score card. Brady, with the help of his partners Colin Yurt and Andrew Lahnam, would borrow one of their frisbees for his shots and finish with a healthy 30 on the day. However, the tragic loss of the frisbee marks a dark spot that clouds an otherwise enjoyable day for Malone and his team.
