Elijah Knights: A Devastating Beginning

The Elijah Knights have always been a force to be reckoned with in DIBL, but this year isn’t looking too hot for them. During the preseason rankings here at the front runner had Elijah in 1st place and the faculty had them in 2nd. Unfortunately for the knights they started the season off against two juggernauts being the Thomas Titans and the Pereira Spartans. 

Elijah vs Thomas was a pretty close match with Elijah losing by only 4 points, while the match against Pereira was a bit more devastating with Elijah losing by 11 points. The most unfortunate matchup this season for Elijah was against The Mazzinghi Spider Monkeys which ended in a forfeit for Elijah. 

Ever since then Elijah has been going lower and lower on the rankings sitting at 4th place for the front runner’s poll and 7th place for the faculty ranking… but not all hope has been lost after the game against Kalinowski, with Elijah beating the kings by 20 points, could this be a comeback for the knights? As for the next matchup the Knights will be going against both Faculty and Spagnoli for week 5 of DIBL, the faculty will definitely be a tough match, but I’m sure Elijah can take down Spagnoli and slowly but surely regain their DIBL throne.
