Brandsma takes Football

Brandsma football had a great Coltfest performance. They started off against Abbati in a thrilling first round match up. The Bulls got on the board first with an Owen Nutter rushing touchdown. Abbati answers as time expires. They go for a 2 point and an overthrow leading to a pick ends Abbatis day early. 

They faced off against Kalinowski in the second round. The Bulls looked much more comfortable and as a team during this game. They did a good job of containing the short game and the Kalinowski lateral plays. The Bulls win 14-7.

This takes Brandsma to the championship against Elijah. This game went back and forth. It came all the way down to overtime. The Bulls go first and Nutter finds Matt Mulhall on the slant route. Elijah lines up, stacking the left and leaving Landon Pund one on one with Trey Benoit. Everyone in the stadium thought they were going to Pund, as he went up and got it on Benoit early that game. Instead they passed to the center and he was downed at the one yard line. 

The Brandsma Bulls win the 2025 Coltfest Football. Other notable wins for the Bulls won in basketball and volleyball.
