The Aftermath of DeSales vs. Butler: A Buzzed Nick Phan

On Oct. 16, 2025 the DeSales soccer team put up a good game against Butler, by going into not just one but two 5 minute overtimes, and only losing with a final score of 2-1. The team didn’t go home in bad spirits that night though, because the true victory of the night lay in the one and only Nicholas Phan. 

Nick went into the game with the promise of buzzing his hair off if DeSales won, and you’re probably thinking, if they didn’t win then what happened? Well the madman decided to get it buzzed anyways. Later that night Bryston Wechter, Louis Lindgren, Ethan Riorden, Cooper Pryor, Ayden Hancock, Logan Houpt, Holden Abang, Dakotah Buckley and Matt Mulhall all drove down to meetup in the one place they could think of to buzz Nick’s hair, the Papa John’s Pizza parking lot. They all gathered around Nick and went to town on his hair. Some say we did him a favor, some including Nick himself, but everyone can agree that it was the right move.
