DeSales Takes Down Ranked North Oldham

The Colts battled with (#12) North Oldham ranked last night; it came down to a score of (3-2) with the Colts gaining victory. We had key players scoring such as Jimmy Monks using his speed, shooting skills and athleticism to score on a freekick. Which was nice to see, Griffin Cummings also scored using his speed, dribbling skills, and shooting ability to score. He slipped right by the goalie and scored which put the Colts in front. These 2 players are huge aspects to the team and are very essential teammates. They have improved so much from last year increasing their dribbling skills, shooting, and passing ability.

We call these two “The Dynamic Duo” because they are great at what they do and are having fun while competing with great teams.

Lastly we had Elijah Duffin score which was new but we’re also not shocked because the sophomore is increasing his skill and getting better week by week while playing as a teammate. The sophomore is looking forward to turning a corner this upcoming year, and for the remainder of the season don’t forget the young sophomore's name. He will be great soon.

The Colts have been winning district games this season but have lost games they’ve wanted and should’ve won. The Colts look very promising for the remainder of the season. If senior Kevin Ngo can work week to week to become better, he can be the best goalie in the district or even in the region. If the Colts want to win they need their key player Kevin to lock in and block more shots that are attempted at the goal. We also need to be dominating competition, we need to score goals when the chance is presented to us. We can't let up those opportunities to score, because we never know if that goal is going to be the reason we could’ve won. I trust the Colts coaching and I wholeheartedly believe that the Colts can be one of the best teams in the state if they keep improving week by week, and taking it a game at a time focusing on what’s in front of them currently, this year is already looking amazing for the Colts we’re all loving it.

Go COLTS!!!
