The golf team is looking pretty good going into Regionals. Blake. P winning the last tournament, with him going to State last year. But Lawson Pund needs to fix something, because he has not been too hot the last few tournaments, in the 2A State Qualifier at South Park CC Lawson shot a 101, the St. Elizabeth Healthcare Invitational Pund shot a 100 and at the Kentucky shootout at Henry County CC Lawson shot a 102. But, What about Jake.M? He has been out for the last few weeks with a pinch nerve. Jake has been back for a week and is playing in Regionals over Lawson Pund, Jake has to be a little bit nervous but after a few holes he should be good. Blake Pollock winning Regionals and shooting 71 and going 1 under, Matt Yorgy shooting a 81 with going 9 over and being tied for 13th and Brenna Martin shooting a 82 with going 10 over and tied for 16th. Blake Pollock wins the 5th Region individual title going -1 under with a 71 at Elizabethtown Country Club, Blake Pollock and Matt Yorgy are going to the first round next week at Pendleton Hills.
