Colts win against Garrard County 43-36. The Colts played a cold, gritty and muggy game at Garrard County and they left with a win. With that win they move on to the second round as they head on the road to play Christian Academy. The Colts played CAL in the regular season but have grown a lot since then.
To get this win, the Colts had to overcome some absence on offense. John Bowling, one of the team's star receivers, was fighting what was thought to be leg cramps the entire game and was unable to play offense. Even after the game, John was still dealing with leg cramps and went to the doctor. After going to the doctor, he was diagnosed with internal bleeding in his leg.
Last week, CAL’s star receiver Ja’Hyde Brown didn't play against Mercer county. The game was very close going into half and he still didn’t play. This could mean he is injured or CAL is saving him for the big games in the playoffs.
