The Desales Colts take on their archrival this week, the Holy Cross Cougars on 9/4 at 7:00 p.m. The Colts are currently 0-2 but are hoping to move up to 1-2 with a swift win against Holy Cross.
The last time the Colts lost to the Cougars was in 2010, over 16 years ago! The score was 0 to 12 in the Cougars favor, but after that the Colts have been dominant with the highest margin of victory being 54 to 0 in 2016.
Many of the Colts fans believe this game will go in the Colts favor. Although their records are quite different with the Cougars being 2-0 (beating DeBois and Providence) and the Colts being 0-2 (losing to Oldham County and Nelson County. The Colts had a rough outing against the Colonels and Cardinals combining for 8 interceptions total and giving up a total of 11 touchdowns between the two games. The Colts hope to make swift work of the Cougars by holding them to a small amount of points and continue their dominance in this rivalry.
Overall this game will be extremely electric and have a great atmosphere for the players and the fans in attendance. Make sure to come out and support your Colts and BEAT HOLY CROSS!
