Friday September 19 2025 the Colts take on the southern knights at Paul B Cox field. The Colts who are 1-3 look to bounce back after a rough loss last week to the KCD Bearcats. The Southern Trojans who are 1-3 have had a bumpy road just like the Colts. The Colts look to shift the momentum and get back in the win column at home. 

The Colts last Friday night, had what looked like a great start Friday night but lost the ball on the opening kickoff. The Bearcats capitalized and scored a touchdown on the first play of the game. The Colts did have some bright spots though during the game, Cam Bischoff (SR) rushed for two touchdowns against KCD showing as a team the Colts can make something out of nothing. Also, Rylee Embrey (SO) rushed for a touchdown showing that the Colts have depth to work with and are not just their starting lineup.

     When the Colts get their offense going it's hard to stop. When that happens everyone gets going, the people on the sideline, the fans and the players. It’s almost like they get revived getting into the game. It’s like that for both sides of the ball, offense and defense. It looks like Southern struggles on offense, only scoring 19 points in their last 3 games, so knowing the Colts they will have a solid game plan for the Trojans and they can capitalize from that. The home field advantage for the Colts should give them a little advantage in this game. Nonetheless, this game Friday night will be electric as the Colts are ready to get another win after starting off the season a little slow.
