This Friday November 7, the Colts travel on the road to play Garrard County. The Colts have gained some momentum from last week's game winning 19-7 on the road at Anderson county. Winning that game put the Colts at a 5-5 record going into the playoffs. The first half against Anderson county was a little rough, with the offense getting into the red zone multiple times but not being able to score. There was a fumble recovery for a touchdown by Junior Andrew Bowman. The scoop and score changed the momentum of the game for the Colts, and the defense was a big help as they locked down Anderson County’s offense.
The Anderson county game seemed to be a big boost for the Colt’s defense, as Anderson County couldn’t get any offense going. The Colts need to carry that momentum into the game this week against Garrard County as they look to advance into the second round. The Colts need to start strong whether they are on offense or defense. It should be a competitive game, and if the Colts apply pressure from the offense and defense the Colts should win without a doubt. The Colts have their wheels rolling which will be a big contributor to the game this week, but anything can happen in the playoffs.
