Football Season Preview

Last year the Colts went a strong 9-4, while making it to the region championship. They are coming back hungry this year and are ready to go on a big run. 

Week 1 at Oldham

The Colonels were a 5-5 team last year. There were no notable wins on their schedule last year. They thrived off a heavy offensive but struggled against higher quality teams.

Week 2 vs Nelson County FIRST HOME GAME PACK THE DANGER ZONE

Nelson County was 2-9 last year. This should be an easy win for the Colts and a great way for the season and the home opener.

Week 3 at Holy Cross

The Cougars went 6-6 last year. They thrived against weaker competition. It is a rivalry game and should be competitive.

Week 4 vs KCD

KCD went a strong 10-3 last year. They either won big or lost big. The Colts have played them close the past few years and we believe that this is the Colts year.

Week 5 vs Southern

Southern was 2-8 last year. This should be another win for the Colts.

Week 6 vs Bishop Brossart

The Mustangs are a new team on our radar. They had a good year last year going 9-3. They have a very strong offense and don’t give up a lot of points. This should be a very competitive game.

Week 7 vs CAL

We all know about CAL. They are the defending state champions. I don’t think this game is out of reach but it will be a tall task for the Colts.

Week 8 vs Western

This will be a good game to rebound after a few tough weeks. This will help the Colts regain confidence for a strong finish.

Week 9 at Central

Central was a strong 9-4 last year. This will be a strong contest a few weeks before the playoffs.

Week 10 at Anderson County 

Anderson County was 3-7 last year. These guys are not bringing any worries to the Colts. This should be an easy dub for the Colts. Ending the year strong with a 30 point win.
