 Mr. Witherspoon is a great coach. He knows a lot about running and the steps for success 


 

What exactly do cross country do  

For practice we usually run 4-7 miles to better pace ourselves to prepare for the cross country meets which we run 3 miles

 


And where do y’all run at  

We practice at Iroquois park and sometimes we run around the DeSales neighborhood 

 

  

How’s your practice work  

 Our practice starts out with us stretching and hydrating and then we start our run. Sometimes the runs are shorter and we work on speed and sometimes they are longer and we we work on pace

 

 

His opinion on doing cross country  

  I enjoy running cross country because it helps me work on my speed and stamina for other sports and it helps me stay active.

 

How he got into cross country 

 I got into cross country because of my friends and I enjoyed running

 

What’s his opinion on his team mates  

 I like my team mates because they are determined and they enjoy the sport as much as I do. We build each other up and help each other perform well at meets.
