The Olympics have finally concluded and the medal count goes as:
Norway: 18 Golds, 12 Silvers, 11 Bronze. Total: 41
United States: 12 Golds, 12 Silvers, 9 Bronze. Total: 33
Italy: 10 Golds, 6 Silvers, 14 Bronze. Total: 30
Johannes Høsflot Klæbo led his country of Norway with 6 gold medals. As well as Sturla Holm Laegreid also helped Norway with 5 medals with 3 silver and 2 bronze medals.
Jordan Stolz led the US with three medals including two golds and one silver medal. As well as Alysa Liu with two gold medals for the US.
The U.S swept the hockey competition winning gold in both men’s and women's hockey. Both beating Canada in overtime. And for Alysa Liu, going from retiring in the last olympics, to coming back and winning two gold medals for the bay area.
Overall the US came second in the medal count and got the most gold medals for a US team ever. It’s unfortunate that we didn't come in first in medal count but it's obvious that the Norwegians have nothing to do all day except train for the winter olympics. Let’s see how they do in basketball in the summer olympics in two years.
