Luka and the Lakers in the 25-26 NBA season 

Luka Doncic gets ready for the 25-26 NBA season and starts a new era with the Lakers teaming up with Lebron creating a dynamic duo. Luka consistently puts up triple doubles and dimes his teammates with electrifying passes. Luka has something to prove this season, traded for Anthony Davis, Max Christie, and a Lakers 2029 first round pick. The Mavericks won the lottery pick, landing the first round pick ( Cooper Flagg). This left Luka furious, making have something to show out for. The 25 year old Slovenian super star has worked on his game all off season.He's lost weight and improved his skills. 

In the Los Angeles Lakers debut ( 10/21/25) Luka put up 43 pts, 12 rebounds, 9 assists. A great start for Luka this season. He's already shown he can dominate games. What remains to be seen: can he lead a team consistently, especially when LeBron is out; can the Lakers build a system around him effectively and can the organization strike the right balance between his long term role and short-term championship goals. 

Even with the Lakers loss, I think they will still have a promising season having great shooters having Austin Reaves, Dalton Knecht,great defensive players like Marcus Smart to get lane steals and pick up strong ball handlers on the defensive end. J.J Reddick is a new coach for the Lakers, entering his second year. He has something to prove due to his inexperienced coaching. The Lakers need a good coaching staff, recycling through coaches over the years, hopefully Reddick can fulfill the Lakers needs this 25-26 season.
