My hot take is that the Celtics are going to have a great year without Jayson Tatum. Without Jayson Tatum everyone is going to be forced to step up a role. And I think this team will be very very good. Payton Pritchard will be moved to a starter and he has proved what he can do when he starts. Every game Pritchard has started he has averaged 18 points, 6 assist, and 5 rebounds so he is more than ready for this bump up. Jaylen Brown is going to have his best year of his career. He has already proven he can step up and be a leader when he needs to so this shouldn’t be very difficult for him. When Jayson Tatum doesn’t play, Jaylen Brown averages 28 points,8 rebounds, and 4 assists. Derrick white will also have a better chance to shine as well. And with all of these players having to step up on the team when playoff time comes around and Jayson Tatum returns from his injury, they are going to be better than ever.
