Preview for the Autotrader 400

The next race on the NASCAR Circuit is EchoPark Speedway. This race takes place at 3 pm on Sunday in Atlanta, Georgia. This track is very unique as it was repaved a couple of years ago which changed the strategy drastically. The track is very similar to any drafting track except the new pavement wears down the tire more than other tracks. A drafting track is when the turns have high banking, or hills, on the turns allowing the drivers to drive at full speed almost the entire race. On these types of tracks the entire group of drivers will typically stack up and drive in many different rows. 

To win this race, each driver and team needs to have a strong game plan with perfect execution. My prediction to win this race is either Chase Briscoe or Kyle Larson. Chase Briscoe ended last season with some strong finishes and showed some promising moments in the Daytona 500. To win this race he will have to avoid the wrecks and stay aggressive. Kyle Larson is also a contender to win this race because he is very experienced with managing tires. His team’s strategy will set him apart from the rest of the drivers allowing him to win.
