The REVILLE is real! The Cards are 9-1 with notable wins against Kentucky, Cincinnati, and Indiana. Not only are Cards winning again but there are rivals being resparked. Over the weekend, the Cards played Memphis St. for the first time since 2017. There is not much for me to critique, they are scoring at an elite level, rebounding well, and playing quality defense. Not only have they been succeeding, but they have played good non-conference competition. Having these early challenges are leading to momentum and confidence. With this confidence going into ACC play in a few weeks should be fun to watch. They will have some early challenges in Duke and Virginia. How they handle a the rest of December and into ACC play will determine if they have what it takes to make a run in March. If they continue playing at this rate I don’t see why they can’t make run. I honestly didn’t think Pat Kelsey was going to bring Louisville all the way back to their greatness but in the start of year 2 he has been proving me wrong. Although there is great success right now, a national championship isn’t won in December so the Cards need to maintain this success. They are playing together very well and teams should be sacred to see the Cards on their schedule. The Cards take on Tennessee tonight at 7.
