Hello my name is John Bowling and I am a senior at DeSales, and I play football and baseball. I’ve been playing both sports for all 4 years and I’m a varsity starter in both of them. In football I play wide receiver and cornerback, and in baseball I play outfield.  In my free time I enjoy golfing and hanging out with my friends. Recently, I have played a lot of golf and I’m getting really close to breaking 90 with a best score of 92. I grew up in Louisville so I’m a big UofL fan. I love watching college sports, especially football, basketball and baseball. I also plan on going to UofL and majoring in Industrial Engineering. I am choosing this major because my dad also majored in this and the job opportunities (like manufacturing and construction) it opens really interests me. I’m excited to be a part of The Front Runner because I believe it’s important to give exposure to athletes and teams at DeSales who go unrecognized for the great achievements and performances they have during their seasons. I also hope to get the most amount of people we can in the danger zone for each home game.
