School History
Fernardo C. Amorsolo Senior High School was formerly known as Senior High School within Marcelo H. Del Pilar Elementary School on June 5, 2017 coping the school year 2017-2018. As temporary settlers of the elementary school, students enrolled were allotted five classrooms to cater the two tracks consisting of General Academic Strand (GAS) and Information and Communication Technology (ICT). It started with a total number of 89 Senior High School students handled try five pioneer teachers namely; Mrs. Editha M. Reyes, Mrs. Mary Chille K. Talib-Dauz, Mrs. Chrishelle C. Mercado, Mrs. Quennie D. Agustin and Mrs. Anna Marie L. Mendoza with the assistance of the two Non- teaching personnel; Mr. Jonaell Salem as the school's Administrative Officer and Mr. Erick B. Montessa, as the Administrative Aide.
The Principal Dr. Luis P. Tagayun managed FASHS as interconnected school of Ramon Magsaysay (Cubao) High School. He maneuvered the leadership with his Assistant Principal Mr. Tomas A. Galora which later appointed as Assistant Principal of Ramon Magsaysay (Cubao) High School. The abrupt changed of the assistant principal's appointment occurred on the later part of the second quarter. It was then that Mrs. Mary Ann Ang was appointed as temporary Officer-In-Charge of the school. Unfortunately, due to a health incapability of serving two schools at the same time, she failed to handle the leadership not longer than three months. She was replaced by Mr. Joel C. Porcadilla, Head Teacher of the Math Department of RMCHS. He took the responsibility of governing the two connected schools simultaneously from November 2017- June 2018.
In July 2018, Dr. Rodel A. Frias became the Official Principal of Fernando Amorsolo Senior High School. With the appointment of Mr. Rodelio P. Ramos as the school's Assistant Principal, the school started its complete governance. It was also then that the enrolled students situated in the elementary school was resettled to its newly structured building located on the left wing of the elementary school. It started its offered tracks to technical vocational and livelihood inclined students. Technical Vocational tracks offered were Information and Communication Technology (ICT), Home Economics (HE) and Shielded Metal Arc Welding (SMAW). Five more newly appointed teachers were included in the teaching force. It was March 2019 that the school successfully recorded its first alumni graduates.
