Fernando C. Amorsolo Senior High School in the Midst of COVID19

The K-12 reform brought about changes in the curriculum and thus, Fernando C. Amorsolo Senior High School found itself needing to establish a Senior High School to cater Grade 10 completers who sought to pursue Technical Vocational, and Livelihood Education specialized in Information and Communications Technology (Animation NC II & Programming NC III), Home Economics (Bread and Pastry NC II, Cookery NC II, Food and Beverage NC II) and Industrial Arts (Shielded Metal Arc Welding) tracks.

After years of gearing up for the remarkable changes in the educational system, a stand alone Senior high School near Marcelo H. Del Pilar Elementary School began to operate in the school year 2017-2018.

Through the efforts of the school personnel and faculty members, this year’s continuing education despite of pandemic became a success.

With the changes in the curricular landscape came improvements in the school facilities through the construction of new buildings to accommodate the growing population of learners inclined towards the technical vocational and livelihood education.

With the connected efforts of the government, the PTA, the concerned agencies, and the school personnel Fernando C. Amorsolo Senior High School continues to provide maximum opportunities for technical and vocational skilled youths in developing their spirit of creativity as they assume their roles in the community.
