Objective: Students are trained in several campus journalism activities such as news, editorial, feature, science, sports, cartooning, photojournalism, copy reading, radio and TV broadcasting, collaborative publishing and online writing.

History: Established in 1958, The Heights Publications was named after La Loma High School (now Eulogio Rodriguez Jr. High School) which in Spanish means ‘the mountain’ referring to the hilly district in Quezon City where the school is situated.

Activities: The publications actively participates in numerous school, district, division and regional competitions all throughout the school year.

Members: Grade 9 and Grade 10 Students from Section 1 & 2 take Journalism as TLE elective though interested applicants from the lower grades and sections are encouraged as long as they have the same schedule as the elective subject.

Accomplishments: Delegate to National Schools Press Conference 2013, Ormoc City; 2nd Place Copy Reading and Headline Writing, Regional Secondary Schools Press Conference 2012; 1st Place Copy Reading and Headline Writing 2016 Teodoro Valencia Cup, NCR; 9th Place, Science Page, RSPC, NCR

The E. Rodriguez Jr. High School Mathematics Club and DaMath Club are both organizations aim to develop and enhance mathematical skills, logical thinking and creativity among its members. Its primary goal is to stimulate the interest of the students in valuing Mathematics for them to develop leadership, responsibility and creative minds to perform well in Mathematical Competitions in school, district, division, regional and national levels. It aids to explore alternate solutions and methods to a problem and encourage to bring out the inherent creativity in applying mathematical concepts. The members of these clubs extend a helping hand to enjoy learning new concepts and appreciate Math and develop among themselves patience, camaraderie, sportsmanship and excellence.

The Science Research of ERJHS is open to students who are highly interested in contributing something new to humanity. For more than five years now since it was introduced to students in Third year (grade 9) in 2013-2014, the researchers were able to gain inspiration from this quote..

The main objective of the Science Research is to motivate encourage inspire high school students to bring out their scientific abilities and who knows create new processes and methods.. That's what you call Innovation!

Composed of high school students, ably supported by the school, principal and parents under the tutilage of it's artistic director Mr. Dante Ballesteros. Since then the group has been invited to perform in special occassions sponsored by the Quezon City Government.

Most Outstanding Accomplishments:

1998 3rd Place, 4th International Folk Dance Competition in Antalya, Turkey, Receives, Special award for Most Behaved Group

2000 1st Place, International Youth Festival in Milan, Italy

The E.RODRIGUEZ JR.HIGH SCHOOL CHORALE is composed of G-7 to G11 bonafide students of the school. The group aims to hone and develop skills of the students,promote and preserve national culture and tradition of our country.

It was established in the year 2005. The group performed in the school events and even served in the celebration of the Eucharistic Mass. It also joined in the different choral competitions and received awards from district,division and regional level.

Ang 'Ang Ilaw' ay opisyal na pahayagang pampaaralan sa Filipino ng E. Rodriguez Jr. High School. Naglalayon ang publikasyong itong hubugin ang natatanging kakayahan at kakanyahan ng mga mag-aaral sa malaya, tumpak at makatarungang pamamahayag. Bahagi rin ang Ang Ilaw na matutuhan ng mga mag-aaral nito ang iba't ibang kategorya sa larangan ng pagsulat, broadcasting at editing tulad ng sumusunod: balita, editoryal, lathalain, isports, pagwawasto at pag-uulo ng balita, agham, pagguhit ng pangulong tudling, kolum, pagkuha ng larawan, radio broadcasting, TV broadcasting, at Collaborative & Desktop Publishing. Hinihikayat at binibigyang-tuon din sa publikasyong ito na maging mapanuri ang mga mag-aaral upang makapaglahad ng makatotohanang pamamahayag.

The Supreme Student Government embodies immense responsibility to the school. The SSG also serves as the official voice of the students and represents them in all matters of their interest. It should be transparent at all times to ensure proper governance and to earn respect among the majority.

Since 2014, E. Rodriguez Jr. High School has been offering Mandarin Language Class for incoming Grade 7 (Level 1) and Grade 8 (Level 2) students in lieu of TLE elective subject. As part of the Department of Education’s Special Program for Foreign Languages, students are required to take the Youth Chinese Test (YCT)- an international standardized Chinese Language Test which is directed at examining non-native primary and secondary school students' ability to apply Chinese language in their studies and in their daily lives. It consists of two independent parts: written test and oral test. The written test is made up of four levels from YCT Level 1 to YCT Level 4 while the oral test includes YCT Speaking(Beginner) and YCT Speaking(Intermediate)

To help students develop an appreciation for the role of ICT in today's society.

To guide members in computer ethics

To develop policies concerning the use of technology at school.

To improve members design skills.

To provide a fun and interactive approach to ICT.

To improve members' programming skills.

To raise awareness and promote the use of technology as a teaching/learning aid.

To improve members' internet authoring skills.

To help students develop as innovative beings who will see problems and create solutions.

To help other students become competent and confident users of ICT through training sessions.

History:

The formation of the club was not an isolated event. It was formally inaugurated during the year 2013. From its initial days to now, it has been playing a pivotal role in empowering the students with technical skills and enhancing their personality& confident apart from the academic and theoretical knowledge.

Members:

Through the leadership of the current President of the Club, Alyssa M. Cruz and Vice President Christian Dela Cruz leading and innovating its member. Members of the ICT club are those students who selected ICT as elective in TLE. Applicants from the lower grades and sections are encouraged as long as they have the same schedule as the elective subject.

Some highlights of the Club are:

Delegate to Computer Assisted Learning (CAL) ICT Championship Regional Contest 2017 and 2018; TLE Technolympics District Level Champion, 2017, 2018, 2019; Division Level Technolympics 2nd Runner up in 2016;
