BAGUMBAYAN ES ONLINE ENROLLMENT IS NOW OPEN
Barangay Bagumbayan known then as Longos, had its first school established in 1939. Bagumbayan as then a barrio of Pasig Rizal. Then, Mayor Cipriano Raymundo of Pasig took the initiative of having a two-room Gabaldon type building built on the present site, a half hectare lot donated by Ortigas & son. Its first teacher was Mrs. Sofia Villanueva, a resident of Pasig. There was only one class, a Grade I class. Classes went on until World War II erupted and classes were disrupted. Classes resumed immediately after war with Grade II Class opening. Like Libis and Ugong Norte, Bagumbayan was an annex of Cubao Elementary School. In 1947, two more classes were organized. Pupils who finished Grade IV had to continue their schooling either in Cubao, Santolan or Pasig Bagumbayan Elementary School was separated from Cubao and became an annex of Murphy Elementary School and then an annex of Project 4 District.
When Bagumbayan Elementary School, now a complete elementary school was merged with Ugong Norte its first Teacher In-Charge was Mrs. Lucifina V. Atienza, thirteen Principals who were assigned in Bagumbayan Elementary followed by Mr. Felix F. Malunes (2014-2017) and Dr. Salve S. Odono (2017-2020). At present, it is being administered by Dr. Armelyn C. Matiga. The school is located at 52 San Roque St. Barangay Bagumbayan, Quezon City, very near the new financial district of Quezon City the Eastwood City.
