A flashback
The Bagong Pag-asa Elementary School was originally opened in 1955 as an annex to the Bago Bantay Elementary School with Mr. Saturnino Magturo as Principal. Mr. Jose Manongdo was the teacher organizer with only 248 pupils. The pupils were housed on private rented rooms with inadequate facilities. Thus, the PTA in concerted efforts sought the help of President Ramon Magsaysay giving way for the construction of the first unit of pre-fabricated school building with two rooms by the army.
On December 4, 1957, Bagong Pag-asa Elementary School became an independent school with Mr. Pio Gatus as its first principal with 30 teachers and a school population of 1912.
In 1961, Mrs. Maria de Luna was assigned principal.
In 1963, Mrs. Feliza F. Doria continued the gigantiic task of securing a permanent school site and constructing more prefabricated buildings with the ardent support of the PTA. They did not stop until the Quezon City Council appropriated 170,000 for the construction of the first concrete 2-storey building. In 1966-1967, the concrete building was innaugurated by Mayor Norberto S. Amoranto.
In 1975, another school building was constructed adjoining the main concrete building during the term of Mrs. Arceli Calleja. More improvements in the physical aspect-( INCOMPLETE INFO)
