COVID-19 Vaccination
October 7, 2022
The Vacc2School campaign seeks to educate, inform, and engage stakeholders in promoting the vaccination drive and other COVID-19 prevention policies. In the education sector, the campaign was also contextualized to support the Department of Health's (DOH) BIDA Solusyon Plus sa COVID-19 campaign. San Roque National High School, in cooperation with the Local Government Unit, SDO Marikina Health Unit, and the Department of Health, supports the aforementioned program by informing all stakeholders involved.
A day prior to the scheduled vaccination date, I worked with Ms. Noela Salas, the clinic teacher at San Roque Elementary School, to discuss the vaccination day's process flow and how we will be able to communicate. We also urged additional stakeholders to take advantage of the CoVid-19 vaccination opportunity.
Re-Orientation of Health and Safety Protocols
September 30, 2022
Every student deserves a high-quality education in an environment that is both healthy and safe. In the midst of our country's ongoing recovery and reemergence from the COVID-19 pandemic, schools and communities must prioritize the health and safety of students, faculty, and families more than ever. Schools across the country can safely reopen for in-person learning due to increased access to COVID-19 vaccines for adults and students aged 12 and up, scientifically proven virus prevention strategies, and essential government resources. Educators and leaders across the country are already demonstrating that students can learn and thrive safely inside their classrooms, and that as a school, we can provide the supports students need while also delivering on the promise of a high-quality, equitable education for all.
