Concepcion Integrated School is a public school in Marikina City that serves students from diverse cultural backgrounds in the local barangays of Concepcion and Tumana. It has offered both junior and senior high school levels since opening in 2002, being one of the first schools in Marikina to pilot the senior high school program.
CISSL offers high quality education for Grades 7-10 and amazing SHS Strands including ABM (Accountancy Bussiness Management) and EPAS (Electronic Products Assembly and Servicing).
The Concepcion Integrated School Secondary Level (known as CISSL), an offshoot of the Marikina High School –Annex, started to operate on September 17, 2001 with more than 40 faculty staff to teach more than 1,000 students largely from Tumana area.
On May 10, 2002, it was instituted through a City Council Resolution No. 067, Series of 2002 and through the subsequent approval of the Department of Education.
Its name, Concepcion Integrated School, obtained pursuant to the Deped Order No. 91 Series of 1999 renaming Marikina High School-Annex as Concepcion Integrated School Secondary Level under the untiring effort of Mr. Rubi A. Parungao, the appointed principal that time.
