To be able to help the environment and implement different environmental programs, projects and activities in our community, YES-O with the help of Araling Panlipunan teachers and other stakeholders, continues its Project I CARE or Project I Conserve, Act and Recycle for the Environment for its second year. This project encouraged participants to do their share in caring for the environment.
Garden Diaries
Pulo National High School Youth for Environment in Schools - Organization (PNHS-YES-O) organized a webinar entitled GARDEN DIARIES with the theme “Gulayan sa Gitna ng Pandemya, ating Isulong Kasama ang Pamilya”. We invited Ms. Julie Ann Ceraos of City Agricultural Office of City of Cabuyao to be our resource speaker.
This webinar aims to educate students, parents and teachers of Pulo National High School on how to established their own home garden and its importance.
Fire Prevention Month Infographic Poster making Contest
The Youth for Environment in Schools Organization decided to organized an Infographic Poster Contest in order to Raise awareness about the; dangers, causes and hazards of fire; ensure the safety of the public, and teach people on what and what not to do when facing fire incident.
The activity focuses on enhancing the knowledge of the participants and the community about fire prevention and safety through infographic posters.
Poster Making Contest
In celebration of the World’s Water Day, the Youth for Environment in Schools Organization decided to conduct a Poster Making Contest with a theme of “Water Conservation: Making the Impossible, Possible” that aims to spread the importance of water in human lives, as well as the importance of conserving water.
Earth Hour Celebration
In celebration of Earth Hour for year 2022 and in the implementation of DepEd Order No. 93, s.2011 the Youth for Environment in Schools Organization (YES-O) of Pulo National High school conducted a school-based awareness campaign.
The activity focuses on encouraging the community in participating in the world-wide Earth hour which aims to raise awareness towards the need to take action on energy conservation and climate change.
Waste Management Campaign
Through the use of video campaign, YES-O officers calls for proper waste management.
Earth Day Celebration and Tree Planting
In celebration of Earth Day 2022, YES-O together with SSG organized a simultaneous tree planting activity where participants were encouraged to plant trees.
Philippine Environment Month 2022
In celebration of Philippine Environment Month 2022 and in partnership to SSG, the organization organized a school-based webinar about climate change.
Mr. Paulo Miguel Cervantes of Ugnayan Kalikasan was invited as the resource speaker where he talked about Empowering Youth in Combating Climate Change.
