Our Schools Division Superintendent, Dr. Susan S. Collano, dropped by Yabu Elementary School to spread some great energy and inspiration! She popped into the classrooms for a quick chat with the kidsโchecking in on their reading skills and cheering them on to come to school every single day and do their best. She also set an exciting challenge for everyone: to make sure every pupil becomes a reader! Before leaving, she took time to catch up with our hard-working teachers, giving them a big boost of motivation, words of encouragement, and thanking them for all their dedication. Nakiisa ang buong pamayanan ng Yabu Elementary School sa pambansang pagdiriwang ng Buwan ng Wika na may temang:ย
"Wikang Filipino at AI: Kasangkapan sa Pananaliksik at Tulay sa Yaman ng Impormasyon"
Sa layuning mapalalim ang pagmamahal at kaalaman ng ating mga mag-aaral sa wikang pambansa, isinagawa ang isang makabuluhang oryentasyon upang bigyang-kamalayan ang mga bata tungkol sa kasaysayan ng ating wika. Tampok dito ang pagkilala kay Manuel L. Quezon, ang "Ama ng Wikang Pambansa," at ang pagbibigay-diin sa kahalagahan ng pagpapahalaga sa ating sariling wika.
Ipinaliwanag din sa mga mag-aaral sa simpleng paraan ang kahulugan ng ating tema ngayong taon:
Ipinapakita nito na ang Artificial Intelligence (AI) ay isang modernong kagamitan na tumutulong sa ating pag-aaral at paghahanap ng kaalaman. Kasabay nito, ang Wikang Filipino ang nagsisilbing tulay upang ang mga impormasyong ito ay maging mas madaling maintindihan, makabuluhan, at magagamit ng bawat Pilipino.
Pormal ding inilunsad ang iba't ibang malikhaing gawaing nakatakdang gaganapin sa loob ng bawat silid-aralan sa buong buwan. Sa pamamagitan ng mga gawaing ito sa klase, patuloy nating itinataguyod ang kulturang Pilipino at inihuhubog ang ating mga mag-aaral na maging buong-pusong may pagmamalaki sa ating pambansang pagkakakilanlan.ย

BUILDING FUTURE LEADERS: BSP COUNCIL-WIDE INVESTITURE 2026 โ๏ธ
Yabu Elementary School was honored to serve as the host venue for the Boy Scouts of the Philippines (BSP) Council-Wide Investiture held on July 25, 2026.
The activity was a resounding success, bringing together enthusiastic Grade 4 pupils from various schools across the Division of Naga City. Through this solemn ceremony, our young scouts formally took their Scout Oath and Law, marking the beginning of their journey toward leadership, service, character development, and citizenship.
We extend our deepest gratitude to the Division Officials, Scout Leaders, School Heads, Coordinators, and supportive Parents whose collective efforts and dedication ensured the smooth and successful execution of this momentous event.

โWe are still beaming from the success of Handog Eskwela 2026! Led by the LCRA President for CamSur, Sir Ronaldo Ragos Eborde, the Local Civil Registrarโs Alliance of Camarines, Inc. In coordination with Madam Dolores Delos Reyes, City Civil Registrar of Naga City headed to Yabu Elementary School accompanied by the other 35 Municipal Registrar and 2 City Civil Registrar to deliver more than just school supplies, they delivered hope and encouragement.
