Curriculum
The WEVHS, being a Tech-Voc school, adopts the “Strengthened Technical-Vocational Education Program (STVEP) using the Competency-Based Curriculum (CBC). It is a framework or guide for the subsequent detailed development of curriculum and associated methodologies and training and assessment resources. The CBC specifies outcomes which are consistent with the requirements of the workplace as agreed through the industry or community consultations.
Track Offering
WEVHS offers TVL Track and has two strands namely: Electrical Installation and Maintenance (EIM) and Home Economics (HE) which has three majors particularly Bread and Pastry Production, Food and Beverage Services, and Cookery. TVL is designed to develop students’ skills useful for livelihood projects at home. It provides a curriculum that is a combination of core courses required for all SHS strands and specialized hands-on courses that meet the standard hour requirement and competency-based assessment of TESDA. Students undergo immersion, which may include earn-while-you-learn opportunities, to provide them relevant exposure and actual experience in their chosen track.
