TVTS Malummin Annex - Mission, Vision, Core Values

Our school was inspired to intensify its efforts to initiate and try educational innovations, reforms and changes that will lead to its utmost improvement as to achieve what she had envisioned as it takes its goals and missions in leading before, today, tomorrow and in the future.

School head acted as the trigger of a gun where teaching and non-teaching staffs and other stakeholders were like bullets which will behold the life and death of budding dreamers either they will be deeply-motivated and well refined to achieve quality life and excellence. Behold these bullets are innovations, strategies, principles, reforms and changes that might be reasons for students to become holistic individuals and effective, reliable, responsible Filipinos.

Everyone is constantly working for TVTSMA’s improvement with its various linkages and group efforts all anchored in one main reason – “Par Excellence for the Tuaoeños, for the Cagayanos and for the Filipinos at large!” as Dr. Maribel S. Arellano emphasized in the SIP 2016.

As such this institution will be highlighted and best reminisced as a crawling baby in the past but is now like an upright man – stunningly renowned and sturdy, with God’s unfading guidance, blessings and love.

The school will be a large secondary school with a supportive student centered learning program and with significant student teacher partnerships. The school curriculum will continue to be discipline based but with an increased use of rich tasks and enquiry based learning. Teachers will be learners and researchers. Students will be able to achieve excellence in learning across the broad curriculum and outcomes will continue to be outstanding. An extensive co curricula program will continue to engage students.

The school will be a stimulating, safe and well -resourced learning environment, where all students are maximizing their potential. The individual well-being of each student will be supported and students will develop emotionally and intellectually through engagement in dynamic programs and tasks which are challenging and relevant.

The school will be part of a knowledge precinct with clear links with to nearby research institutions such as universities, hospitals, medical research institutes and neighborhood primary schools. The school will be a statewide, specialist music school and an international leader in both biotechnology education for students and gifted education. The challenge for the school will be to extend its outstanding record of local education to become a leader in key educational issues.

These are the confirmed values originally developed and agreed to by the school community in 2010.
