The Supreme Student Council of Sta. Teresita National High School and Luga National High School conducted an oath taking ceremony on 22nd of October 2021, held at Audio Visual Room(AVR) of STNHS together with the accredited organizations in the school. It was started by an opening prayer of Mr. R –Jay Yapit, Teacher III followed by the national anthem by Mrs. Leilanie C. Puruel ,Master Teacher II. The official opening program was started by an introductory speech given by Mrs. Venus V.Bautista, Head Teacher I of Luga National High School who delivered and spoke a very enlightening talks not just on how to become a good leader but tackles on how to start leading through self-discipline and self-sufficiency and it was followed by the presentation of Newly-Elected SSG Officers by Mr. Elmer Estuista of STNHS and Ednalyn Padre Of LNHS. A simple Induction program observing the minimum health standards took place at the AVR of STNHS and the SSG Officers were sworn in by Atty. Rodrigo P. De Gracia, ESE the Municipal Mayor of Sta. Teresita.
Afterwards, each elected officer gave their inaugural address and thanked the students who believed in their plans and aspirations . The student leaders vowed to continue the heartfelt tradition of leading and serving the students despite the pandemic the world is facing Mayor Rambo delivered and spoke a very enlightening talks not just on how to become a good leader but tackles on how to start leading through self-discipline and self-sufficiency. Quoted his own version “Humility is one of the traits of a leader” Which he strongly believed and wanted to implant to the young minds of the student leaders .
Then it was followed by Sherilou Tan, SSG President of STNHS and Kier Paolo Banez as they gave their message of commitment. Lastly Maam Violeta T. Ibera MST School Principal of STNHS delivered her Words of Acknowledgement and also the Public Schools Public Supervisor Ma'am Raquel C. Marantan, PhD gave her inspirational message to the newly-elected officers. Indeed, the event was a success for all the student leaders whom solemnly pledge that on that day begins the challenge of being a good leader from a small group of organization to a bigger involvement in the society in the near future will be possible by starting to practice a better leadership characteristic from one self. Congratulations newly elected ones!

Sta.Teresita National High School continues to strengthen the bond between the school and stakeholders for they are the vital partners of school's success.
The school conducted a limited GPTA MEETING amidst the pandemic last May 9,2021 8am at STNHS AVR observing IATF PROTOCOLS.The meeting was presided by Ma'am Violeta Ibera, School Principal to discuss the projects to be implemented by this school year by generating funds thru donations from generous parents.
Dr. Eden P. Malabag, the Sta. Teresita District’s Public Schools District Supervisor, led the faculty and staffs of Sta. Teresita National High School as they underwent through the strict scrutiny of the SDO-Cagayan’s Brigada Eskwela On-Site evaluators on February 23, 2021.
Malabag headed the school’s team who passed through the interview of Sir Manny Palattao, Ma’am Roveli Barcoma, and Ma’am Jeann Carinugan, representatives from the schools division office of Cagayan. Afterwhich, an ocular inspection was made by the same evaluators.
Aside from her hands-on assistance to the STNHS’ BE ‘20 Docu-Team, Malabag also made herself visible in the site before, during, and even after the on-site evaluation of the school. By her presence, she gave assurance to the school’s workforce that everything will go smoothly.
STNHS was the CD-1 representative to the Search for Best Brigada Eskwela Implementer in the division level.
The evaluators scrutinized the BE documents of the school, starting from the Scope of Work down to the records and documents of diverse volunteers, creativity and innovation, generated funds, alignment to BE 2020 theme amidst COVID19 pandemic, and projects’ sustainability.
Ma'am Violeta Tabulog Ibera , the school principal of STNHS, initiated the spirit of Bayanihan among STNHS staff and stakeholders with the supervision of Ma'am Eden Malabag , PSDS of Sta. Teresita District.
Vice Mayor Ruben Fagela Sr. extended help to the school by providing Cement Mixer and donating mixed cement for an easier accomplishment of task for the day.
The CIASI 61892 Neutral , again, also rendered service to the school as a manifestation of their strong brotherhood.
Pursuant to Deped Memorandum No. C1-2020-00-062 re: Read Ex Online through the Curriculum and Learning Management Division (CLMD) and the Learning Resource Management Section (LRMS), Sta. Teresita National High School teachers participated the Reading Exhibit Online anchored in the National Competition on Storybook Writing and the Regional Reading Exhibits which started May 18 until June 15, 2020.
The activity aims to promote reading and listening among Filipino learners by presenting interesting and original stories from teachers, to augment adaptive resources that can address learning competencies amidst pandemic crisis and to showcase storybooks developed by teachers through storytelling, audiobook narration, and multimedia learning.
Teachers from the Senior High School Department at Sta. Teresita National High School participated in the Read Ex Online Program and worked hard to record stories from regional local authors through a multimedia presentation.
Arlene T. Bello, Tesa I. Tayan, and Claudine A. Sevilleja narrated the selected stories, while Irene D. Rasos, Elmer C. Estuista, and William A. Obispado acted as media presenters.
Eden P. Malabag, PhD., the very involved Public School District Supervisor, and Violeta T. Ibera, the energetic School Principal, were instrumental in this learning experience.
Their submissions were lucky enough to be called Regional Winners and even qualified for the National Level.
The entries in #Kwentong Bayan Ko are the following: “Magkaibigang Tunay” by Evageline Miguel and “Tim Itim” (Lovely Jane Mallari); “Ang Munting Hiling” (Rey Pascual); and “Si Gingging Gagamba” (Imelda Tolentino). The winners were presented with a certificate awarded by Deped Region Office 02.(I. Rasos/T. Tayan)
The Sta. Teresita National High School once again emerged to the top as Jude Marc Flannery U. Labsang won as champion in the Municipal Culture, Arts, and Heritage Quiz Bee held on April 27, 2021 at the municipal gymnasium.
The former Supreme Student Government president was declared the winner after answering correctly the clincher question given by quiz master and MEATMO Nida dela Cruz to break the triple tie score of 32 among Labsang and two other opponents from St. Francis Academy.
Labsang accurately answered RA 3728 when they were asked what republic act separated Sta. Teresita from its mother town Buguey.
Madam Violeta T. Ibera, the principal of STNHS, expressed her gratitude and congratulations to the winners, participants, and coaches for bringing pride and honor to the Theresian community. #Arlene T. Bello
