The Silangan Elementary School has been proving its academic excellence since its establishment on 1986. The school has been recognized and awarded in the field of academics, sports and leadership through the years. 

Silangan Elementary School has been living with its theme “Embracing the challenges of the 21st century“, wherein each teacher from Special Education and Kindergarten to 6th grade is equipped with great ability to teach the younger generation with the right learning to cope with the different challenges in the future. The school aims to endow each pupil with knowledge and experiences in gearing them towards a brighter future that will be beneficial, not only to their family but also to our nation. The school also believes that a child-friendly environment is significant in the lives of its pupils so the teachers are encouraged to create effective and inclusive classrooms that are conducive for learning. Thus, it ensures that every child is physically safe, emotionally secure and psychologically enabling.
