The Learning Resources Management and Development System (LRMDS) is designed to support increased distribution and access to learning, teaching and professional development resources at the Region, Division and School/Cluster levels of DepED.
DepED Learning Management System
The DepEd LMS is the Department of Education's official Learning Management System, a web-based platform built on Moodle that enables teachers to create virtual classrooms, manage online courses, distribute learning materials, conduct online assessments, and monitor student progress. It functions alongside platforms like DepEd Commons to support various learning modalities, especially during periods when face-to-face classes are not possible, and is used for both student instruction and teacher professional development activities.
Region 1 Learning Resource Information System
The Region I Learning Resource Information System (Region LRIS) is an online platform developed to digitize, manage, and centralize the development, quality assurance, distribution, and tracking of locally developed learning resources across DepEd Region I. It ensures systematic documentation, quality standards, and easier access to educational materials for teachers and learners.
BLR-LRMS Reading Treasury is a collection of storytelling session videos, audiobook narration, and multimedia presentations of the hundreds of storybooks submitted to the National Competition on Storybook Writing (First, Second, and Third Editions).
Access to these storybooks is through the Learning Resources Management Sections of the regional and division offices of DepEd. These storybooks are still in the draft phases of processing (quality assurance, revisions, mechanical editing, and final packaging) by the DepEd Bureau of Learning Resources.
