The Sta. Ana Central School is considered as one of the oldest elementary learning institutions of Sta. Ana which is located at Centro, Sta. Ana Cagayan and strategically situated at the back part of the Municipal Hall. Tracing back its existence, the school was established in early 1954s. It covers a land area of utmost two hectares and at least fifty thousand eight hundred square meters (11,800 sq. ). The proof of school lot ownership is a very old Original Certificate of Title ( OCT).
The school was opened under the leadership of Mr. Regalado Guzman who became the principal for almost ten years and at the same time the concurrent District Head at that time. Next school head was Mr. Sofronio Taguba from Enrile, Cagayan. From then, on the metamorphosed into one of the premier schools in district of Sta. Ana under the leadership of the following administrators:
