Senior High School Field Testing for the Senior High School (SHS) Recognition of Private Schools
The field trial of the Monitoring and Evaluation (M&E) tool for recognizing Senior High Schools underscored its importance in ensuring accuracy, reliability, and fairness in the assessment process. By testing the tool in real-world settings, the activity helped identify areas for refinement, enhance data-driven decision-making, and ensure that recognition is based on objective standards, ultimately promoting excellence and accountability in Senior High School programs. Quality Assurance Division Conducted the tool field trial on selected schools namely Philippine Lyceum of St. Dominique-Depara Campus, Mystical Rose School of Caloocan Inc., Holy Trinity Academy, Inc., Golden Success College Inc., Trinity Polytechnic College Inc., and Quezon City Academy Foundation held on November 25, 2025

The activity on the development of the Professional Resource Manual highlighted collaborative efforts to establish a comprehensive guide for the evaluation, inspection, and monitoring of private schools in basic education, reinforcing effective governance, quality standards, and continuous improvement in private education. Held on July 1-4, 2025 at Galilee Wonderland Waterpark and Hotel San Pedro, Bustos, Bulacan.

The regionwide monitoring of all private schools offering basic education programs in DepEd NCR for Calendar Year 2025 was successfully conducted to ensure compliance with Department of Education standards and policies. The activity covered two key phases: February 3–12, 2025, focusing on private schools with adverse findings and schools issued with Cease-and-Desist Orders following the 2026 monitoring; and March 17–28, 2025, which involved the comprehensive mapping of all private schools offering basic education to update institutional data and validate compliance. This initiative underscores DepEd NCR’s commitment to quality assurance, accurate data management, and continuous improvement in the delivery of basic education.

Held on January 17, 2025 at DepEd NCR Conference Hall participated by SGOD Chiefs, Education Supervisors, and SEPS-SMM&E.
