CERTIFICATION, AUTHENTICATION, AND VERIFICATION (CAV) OF BASIC EDUCATION SCHOOL RECORDS
What is CAV?
CERTIFICATION, AUTHENTICATION, AND VERIFICATION (CAV) - refers to an official and formal processes and acts of checking, reviewing and certifying to the genuineness and veracity of available academic school records of a learner duly performed by the Department of Foreign Affairs (DFA) pursuant to existing arrangements by the said Department; and shall be issued to the applicable purposes and as required by DFA:
Employment abroad
Seaman's book/seafarer's registration certificate
Migration abroad
Student visa
Tourist visa
Fiancé visa
Descendant's visa
Reimbursement of educational allowance/tuition fees of children of OFW
Such other purposes as maybe required in writing by the DFA
