School-Based Management (SBM)

•  School-based management (SBM) is a strategy to improve education by transferring significant decision-making authority from central office to school. SBM provides principal, teachers, students, and parents greater control over the education process by giving them responsibility for decisions about the budget, personnel, and the curriculum. Through the involvement of teachers, parents, and other community members in these key decisions, SBM can create more effective learning environments for children.   

OK sa DepEd

• An initiative that we launched in 2018, OK sa DepEd is the convergence of DepEd's health programs, policies, and activities geared towards their effective and efficient implementation at the school level, in partnership with various stakeholders.
