Curriculum is known to be the framework of education which serves as guide of educators in providing students the essentials in the teaching-learning process. With this, students have the access to rigorous academic experiences where they are able to acquire the needed knowledge, skills, attitudes and values as a ticket for lifelong learning.

The Philippine education have adopted the K-12 Curriculum on academic year 2012-2013 wherein its program covers Kindergarten and 12 years basic education ( six years of primary education, four years of junior high school and two years of senior high school) which provides sufficient time for mastery of concepts and skills, develops lifelong learners and.prepares for tertiary education.

As one of the public schools of the Departmene of Education, Matucay National High School adopted the K-12 program offering exploratory TLE for grade 7 and 8, while grade 9 and 10 have their specialized TLE with the following majors: House Keeping, Agriculture, Foods and ICT. The Senior High School department also offers Academic Track with the following strands: ABM, STEM, and HUMSS and the newly approved track, Technical- Vocational Livelihood with ICT as its only offfered strand. Through these offerings, the administrator together with the teachers go hand in hand in providing the best quality of education that every student deserves to survive to what life has to offer as they will get out from the portal of the school.
