Matab-ang NHS gears up for INSET 2022
MATAB-ANG, Toledo City - True to its commitment of providing the best learning experience for its learners, the Matab-ang National High School, headed by its school head, Mr. Archie D. Capacite, will conduct a three-day virtual in-service training for teachers on February 2 - 4, 2022. The training aims to capacitate teachers with the necessary skills needed to respond proactively to the challenges of the new normal in education.
The training-workshop will focus on the following topics: Making of Integrative Written Works and Performance Tasks, ICT Integration and other Techniques, Teaching Strategies in the New Normal, Action Research, and Wellness Program and Nurturance of Physical Aspects.
In a simple installation held on December 15, 2021 at Toledo National Vocational School, Archie D. Capacite accepted the responsibility as the School Head of Matab-ang National High School.
Capacite takes the position following the appointment of Mr. Geraldo Lana as the Division Science Coordinator.
Before his appointment as the new school head, he was designated as the Assistant School Head for Junior High School affairs earlier this school year. Mr. Capacite is not new to this responsibility as he served in the same capacity way back school year 2018-2019.
MATAB-ANG NATIONAL HIGH SCHOOL is one of the country's educational sanctuaries that aims for holistic development of each learner in the community as mandated in Section 1, Article XIV of the 1987 Philippine Constitution where teachers are competent, committed and give their personal share for the fulfillment of Vision-Mission of the Department of Education.
The school is located in the northwestern part of Toledo City. It belongs to the Secondary Cluster 1 of the Division of Toledo City. It is 600 meters away from the Toledo-Balamban National Highway.
