In alignment with the MATATAG Basic Education Agenda and as part of the National Learning Recovery Program (NLRP) to address learning loss, the Department of Education (DepEd) will implement the National Learning Camp (NLC) during the 2022–2023 End-of-School Year (EOSY) break. To support this initiative, learning resource materials have been made available for the program's effective implementation. The NLC, a voluntary program, will initially target Grades 7 and 8, focusing on English, Science, and Mathematics. Learners will be enrolled in one of three camps—Enhancement Camp, Consolidation Camp, or Intervention Camp—based on their unique needs. These resources are designed to create an engaging, camp-like learning experience, incorporating interactive and enjoyable activities that nurture learner interests, socio-emotional skills, personal growth, and character development.
In alignment with the Department of Education's MATATAG Agenda and to enhance instructional delivery, the Curriculum Implementation Division – Learning Resource Management Section has released the official MATATAG Learning Resources. These resources are designated for use in Kindergarten to Grade 12 for the school year 2025–2026, ensuring quality and consistency in the teaching and learning process.
The Alternative Learning System (ALS) offers comprehensive learning modules tailored to meet diverse educational needs. Each module is self-contained, providing clear objectives, a detailed description, engaging learning activities, and pre- and post-tests to measure progress. For basic and lower elementary learners, the modules are accompanied by a Facilitator’s Guide to support instruction. In contrast, the modules designed for advanced elementary and secondary learners are specifically crafted for independent, self-directed learning, enabling flexibility and accessibility for a wide range of learners.
The Department of Education provides a wide range of learning materials designed to nurture holistically developed learners. These resources aim to equip students with essential life skills, such as problem-solving, critical thinking, and informed decision-making, fostering their academic success and personal growth. Aligned with DepEd's vision, the materials emphasize self-awareness, future readiness, and respect for diversity, helping learners understand their roles in a dynamic and inclusive society. Additionally, the resources encourage collaboration, patriotism, and a commitment to the common good, empowering students to contribute meaningfully to their communities and the nation.
The Early Grade Learning Hub is a one-stop-shop information portal of resources developed by ABC+ for its stakeholders and key users of the site. This hub also serves as platform to further promote activities and interventions of the ABC+: Advancing Basic Education in the Philippines project, a partnership project of the Department of Education and USAID and implemented by RTI International.
The Academic Recovery and Accessible Learning Program in Reading (ARAL-Reading) aims to provide timely, responsive, and effective support to learners who fall below the expected reading proficiency levels, enabling them to catch up with the grade-level expectations set by the Department of Education.
The Department of Education - Region IV-A CALABARZON, in partnership with the Central Visayan Institute Foundation (CVIF), has adopted the Learning Activity Sheets (LAS) developed for Junior High School (Grades 7–10) and Senior High School (Grades 11–12) to support the Alternative Delivery Mode (ADM).
