COMMUNITY PROFILE

Barangay Dalaya is geographically located at the southwestern part of Buguey. Adjacent to it on the east is Barangay Fula. A continuous farm to market road from M. Antiporda traversed the national highway to the north nestling Barangays Dalaya, Remebella and Balza at the northeastern part. It has a total land area of 532.2419. It is purely an agricultural barangay. It has a total human population of 930 as of year 2012 which is composed of 212 households. There is only one elementary school providing basic education to the school children. Majority of the residents are Catholics. The Barangay Council is headed by Barangay Captain Antonio Galura. The community has numerous infrastructure projects like Barangay Gym, Solar Pavements, Water System, Waiting Sheds, Irrigation and the regravelling and concreting of roads.
