Koronadal National Comprehensive High School was established in 1947, occupying at first a dense cogonal area of 79,000 square meters all the greeneries of shrubs and shaded trees as its landscape.
Its first name was Koronadal Junior High School and later through Republic Act 5550, a bill sponsored by James Chiongbian, converted Koronadal Junior High School to Koronadal National Comprehensive High School on July 1, 1970.
