FY 2025 NASH Batch 2
FY 2025 NASH Batch 2
More than 2,000 school leaders across CALABARZON took part in the Department of Education’s National Assessment for School Heads (NASH) Batch 2 on May 17, 2026. The Regional Office conducted a mock test a week earlier, on May 10, to iron out possible issues involving technology, logistics, and coordination—an effort that proved crucial in ensuring the readiness of both examinees and personnel.
To make the assessment more accessible, DepEd CALABARZON set up eight testing sites across the provinces of Cavite, Laguna, Batangas, Rizal, and Quezon. A total of 2,099 registered participants were assigned to 139 testing rooms, easing congestion and allowing school heads from different divisions to take the exam closer to their locations.
On exam day, 2,094 examinees were able to take the test, supported by 245 assessment site personnel deployed across the region. Preparations began before dawn, with staff conducting final checks on equipment, internet connectivity, and testing rooms as early as 5:00 AM. Local government units, barangay officials, and police also assisted in managing the arrival of participants, helping ensure safety and order at the testing venues.
The assessment officially began at 9:00 AM, with examinees accessing the online platform used for the test. Monitoring teams from both the Central and Regional Offices were present at various sites, including Assistant Regional Director Loida N. Nidea and Regional Director Carlito D. Rocafort, to oversee operations. While minor technical issues such as internet connectivity and login concerns were reported in a few locations, these were quickly resolved by on-site technical staff without causing major disruptions.
The smooth implementation of FY 2025 NASH Batch 2 highlights DepEd CALABARZON’s commitment to strong and effective school leadership. With careful planning, teamwork, and reliable technical support, the region not only delivered the assessment successfully but also reinforced its goal of empowering school heads and improving education for all learners.
