BRIEF DESRCIPTION OF CURRICULUM IN HACIENDA-INTAL NATIONAL HIGH SCHOOL

In education, a curriculum is broadly defined as the totality of student experiences that occur in educational process.

It is a standards-based sequence of planned experiences where students practice and achieve proficiency in content and applied learning skills.

PURPOSE

The purpose of a curriculum is to enable students to become successful learners, responsible individuals, and effective contributors of the society.

IMPORTANCE OF CURRICULUM TO TEACHING IN THE CLASSROOM

Curriculum is the prescribed course of studies which student must finish to pass a certain level of education. All stakeholders must partake in the development and implementation of the curriculum to ensure quality education.

A well-designed curriculum leads and implementer to the right track. It directs the goals and expectations, and this would allow the teacher to teach the subjects effectively and efficiently.

It sets the objectives and leads to improvement of instruction, utilization of materials in teaching that will help the students develop their knowledge, skills, and talents.
