PROJECT OVERVIEW
Teachers' classroom performance is critical to students' learning outcomes, making it important to improve the competence of teachers to teach well. The Department of Education (DepEd) has implemented the Basic Education Sector Reform Agenda (BESRA) and the Schools First Initiative to sustain better school performance. Despite the COVID-19 pandemic, DepEd has streamlined the Most Essential Learning Competencies (MELCs) to ensure quality education continues. However, there has been a decline in the mean percentage scores (MPS) of students in the Technology and Livelihood Education (TLE) subject. To address this, the proponent aims to conduct Learning Action Cells, Teacher's Quality Circles, and/or Professional Learning Communities to upskill and reskill TLE teachers in teaching techniques, methodologies, and strategies across a variety of distance learning modalities. This includes training, competency mapping, promulgation of school-based performance tasks, and showcasing best teaching practices to increase academic achievement and performance of learners.

This project plan/proposal aims to:
upskill and reskill Technology and Livelihood Education (TLE) teachers in the different teaching and learning pedagogies, methods of assessment and evaluation of performance tasks by showcasing best teaching practices through a series of PLCs/LAC/TQCs ;
revisit, realign and mapping of the Most Essential Learning Competencies (MELCS)/Curriculum guide in the development of school-based learning activity sheets and/or supplemental instructional teaching and learning materials in the enhancement of least mastered competencies/skills in TLE and;
highlight and intensify critical content in the transfer of skills in TLE through various distance learning delivery modalities (DLDM)

This livelihood program seminar for parents and learners is an informative session that aims to educate participants on different livelihood programs available to help them generate income and improve their economic standing. The seminar may cover topics such as entrepreneurship, financial management, job opportunities, and skills development programs. The objective of the seminar is to equip parents and learners with the knowledge and skills they need to create sustainable livelihoods for themselves and their families.
