Earthquakes: The region experienced multiple tectonic earthquakes during the games:
May 25 (12:48 AM): A Magnitude 5.6 earthquake near Bayabas, Surigao del Sur, triggered immediate evacuations at billeting quarters, including Bayugan Central Elementary School. Engineering teams conducted subsequent assessments and reported no significant damage.
May 25 (10:32 AM): A Magnitude 5.2 earthquake near Baganga, Davao Oriental.
May 28 (8:26 PM): A Magnitude 4.2 earthquake near Marihatag, Surigao del Sur.
