The Pillar 1: Safer Learning Facilities Guidebook was developed to help school communities assess, improve, and maintain safer learning environments. Anchored on Pillar 1 of the Comprehensive School Safety Framework, it offers practical, inclusive guidance, focusing on infrastructure safety to promote safe, equitable, and continuous access to quality education for all. It further complements the DepEd Educational Facilities Manual by providing contextualized, school-level strategies that extend beyond technical infrastructure standards. This Guidebook serves as the first in a series of three guidebooks, with upcoming resources on Pillar 2: School Disaster Management and Pillar 3: RiskReduction and Resilience Education.

The Psychosocial Support Activity Pack includes essential activities to promote and protect learners' socio-emotional well-being after disasters or emergencies. Developed by the Disaster Risk Reduction and Management Service (DRRMS) in partnership with the MAGIS Creative Spaces Inc., it guides teachers in helping learners cope with and recover from the emotional impacts, ensuring their mental health and resilience are supported.
